At 55, I tend towards being cynical when dealing with auto repair shops. So when after bringing my wife's Sante Fe to Vic Trans for shocks, and running into a problem with the outcome, I expected a run-around. I phoned Peter to complain, and the words had barely left my lips, before he agreed and took care of the issue. That would have been shocking enough, but he phoned me 15 minutes later and discounted my bill a little further. A port in the storm, this shop is run with integrity. That's all you need to know. I am more than impressed, I'm now a loyal customer.

Recently on the recommendation of friends , I took my 2004 Ram in for an oil change and service of the transmission . Unfortunately it did not pass inspection ---pieces in the oil pan told that it was time for a rebuild. As it sometimes happens ------ a new part deep inside had failed , meaning 4 hours of repair to replace this defective valve. Complicated also was to find a growling noise. I am of the opinion that all businesses show their true colour when things just go as they should have , clothes didn't fit , colour was wrong, something broke on use , did not get used ect, ect My concerns about how this was going to work were dashed by the service people at Victoria Automatic Transmission --repairing the transmission and finding a very difficult noise. Done They were a 10/10 ---------- good job guys
